Marc November 21, 2009 2:41amYou have broken a copyright that I have for my widget. Search Wikipedia. It states clearly on the back panel. Please remove your widget
Sean's response: You’re kidding, right? I have broken no copyrights in the creation of this widget. It was created in 2005 (around the time OS 10.4 and Dashboard were released), holds a valid licensing agreement with the Wikimedia Foundation for use of the name "Wikipedia" and associated logos, and all source code and artwork was created entirely by myself or is legally used under appropriate licenses (the icon was created by Chad W. and is used with permission). For proof of existence, please see Steve Job’s 2005 WWDC keynote presentation, which features this widget.
As far as I can tell, your widget was created in 2009, and certainly no earlier than 2006, as it appears to have been created in Dashcode (which was first released in 2006).

Pavel November 13, 2009 5:31pmHello,
Recent Searches are shared between multiple instances of the Wikipedia widget. Multiple instances typically (in practice) run Wikipedia in different languages (e.g. one instance runs Wikipedia en and the other one runs Wikipedia ru), so it could be a bad idea to share recent searhes between them.
Thanks,
Pavel.

elijah November 5, 2009 6:55amThis is a fantastic widget, I use it all of the time and it is very nice. The only thing I would add is the ability to search within articles for words or phrases much like command-f would do on a regular webpage. thanks!
Molly October 17, 2009 9:52pmThis doesn’t work. I search for something and it clears, and messes up my whole dashboard.

Sean's response: Whoops, typo; thanks. 0.9.4 is the latest.
Eric J September 30, 2009 10:28pmit would be great if there could be incremental find!! - like a super fast convinient web browser. Also, perhaps opening multiple tabs/windows would be possible? Thanks!
Dave September 30, 2009 7:58pmFar and away the greatest widget out there. I don’t go a day with using it and the new link fix is perfect. Thanks!

Ugozima September 29, 2009 6:51pmLove this widget, it’s so useful cos now I have wikipedia at my fingertips. Is there any way to apply this to Wikinews and Wiktionary? Because I use those often.
Sean (developer) September 28, 2009 8:11pmThanks for the bug reports everyone. I’m not sure what the problem is yet, but I’ll fix it as soon as I can. I have a few important obligations to deal with at the moment, so it might be a while before I get to the widget. Thank you all for your patience.
